Nicu Barbelescu is a Rumanian fancier that came to work in the construction in Bergamo in Italy.
In 2006 he introduced pigeons from Emiel Denys and Frans Labeeuw, and built a family around these strains.
From the cross of this 2 bloodlines in 2007 a SUPERSTAR was born : a blue cock with ringnumber IT 07-109097 with eleven flights on both sides.
He was sent 15 times in 3 seasons to long distance (550 – 800 KM) and scored 14 times.The harder the better.

His father is the “FAVORIE 101”B06-3207101 by FRANS LABEEUW.He is a full brother to his “Montauban” 5 X Barcelona and 4.Primus Inter Pares.
The mother is “Edelman 630” B06-3006630 by EMIEL DENYS.
She is a daughter of “Edelman” B00-3100038 2.International San Sebastian 2002 when paired to a daughter of “Kleine Tee” 7.international Barcelona 1997.
On that occasion the “Kleine Tee” was paired to” Bibi Perpignan” 1.International Ace Pigeon Perpignan hens 1997+1998+1998.
Now Nicu and his wife Daniella have decided to return to their homeland Rumania, and it was a good chance for Emiel Denys to purchase this great star.
The “Olympic Frans” joined the famous breeding staff of Emiel Denys and so he comes back to his roots.
